Job Description: J2EE Lead Programmer Analyst (Exp: 5+ Yrs to 8 Yrs).
Seeking a talented and motivated Lead Programmer Analyst to join our team. A key initiative to modernize Java-based microservices, including framework upgrades, authentication & authorization, and API hardening. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on Java/Spring Boot skills and a willingness to learn cloud-based environments in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Individual contributor / senior hands-on engineer within a modernization delivery pod, working under the guidance of the Technical Lead.
- Experience should have 5+ Years to 8 Years into J2EE backend development.
- Hands-on development experience in Java (8/11/17), Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Experience implementing authentication & authorization features (OAuth2, JWT) within APIs.
- Solid knowledge of OOP concepts and design patterns for developing scalable applications.
- Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Must have experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit, Jest.
- Exposure to secrets management and cloud/container basics (Kubernetes, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to development best practices.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Should have good oral and written communication.
- Should be a good team player.
- Should be proactive and adaptive.
